More Love Drug, Please!
On this, Valentine's Day, I find myself thinking of the love drug. And no, I'm not talking about Ectasy. I'm talking about Oxytocin. And it's not actually a drug - per se - it's a hormone. One that I find absolutely amazing. When witnessing those precious first moments between a mother and her newly born baby who are falling in love for the first time you can practically smell the oxytocin (or love) in the air. Every time I see that 'love at first sight' instant, with mother and baby experiencing their first touch and smell of each other I am reminded of those same feelings that I had with my own children and I can almost feel the rush of oxytocin in my veins. Such euphoria! Elation! The ultimate high for which there is no comparison. This renews my hope in all of humanity. In a world where this astonishing hormone can have such an impressive effect on our emotions the potential for good is limitless. So enjoy this Valentine's Day. May your oxytocin levels be high and may love be in the air for you!
Peace2u.........

Reluctantly Joining the Revolution
One of my sisters recently told me that she and I needed to get with the program! Apparently 3 of the 5 of us "Quinn Girls" have already jumped on the blog wagon. So I find myself joining the blogging revolution. Reluctantly. Of course, I was able to come up with many excuses not to blog. However, being that I am a passionate person with important issues that I am passionate about.......I have convinced myself that the world will be a better place with my blog in it. And I couldn't resist my sister's obvious challenge to "get with the program"! And so it begins.......
